Exclamation Losing Color

I am kinda stumped over this. I still go tanning the same amount of time (20 minutes), the same intervals (every other day), and using the same bed (solarwind 5000) and have been using a bronzer for about 2-3 months now.....
I am really losing color, nearing my base tan.... I didnt really notice it until my mom said that I didnt look nearly as dark as I did a month ago.... I am thinking that i need to switch back over an accelerator or maximizer again..... Was it that the bronzer wasnt doing anything for me?? If i switch back over to A&Ms..... will i regain my dark color again??? Lol, i feel pale now that my mom said that i wasnt really dark anymore.... Thanks!

Re: Losing Color

If you need a bronzer than something is wrong. Try a different bed, try a different lotion....or stay home and use self tanner....if you're gonna cheat GO BIG. ;)

Have you tried CT Seven? My customers had ME sold on it. They were buying 2 packettes at a time so they had one for their next tan in case we sold out again. I used the bottle and it's wasn't until the third tan that I was like "WOW, okay I think it works!" . That was the regular maximizer, not the bronzer. Fiji Tantric is another one that gets me really dark. I've had people that were using Ray of Light (dual bronzer and more expensive than Tantric) and they got darker with the Tantric.

Re: Losing Color

What you need to do is not keep tanning in the same type of bed. Mix them up. It is always good to to switch up your lotions between accelerators/maximizers and bronzers.

Re: Losing Color

Agree ^^^^^ the main thing is to try to change your tanning pattern. If your salon has HP do a LP bed every other day for about a week and then do a HP. If there's a stronger LP bed try upgrading to that to break through your plateau. It's more about the bed than the lotion.

Re: Losing Color

Ah.... ic ic.... well i use the level 3 bed, and I use the level 4 bed about 1-2 every 2 weeks, but i havent used the Hp bed yet.... Well anyways, i am going to my old salon to buy a whole bunch of samples to pick out a new lotion, becuase they have HUNDREDS of samples from all different companies like DS, CalTan, Fiji, Emerald Bay and so on... But i am kinda mad, cuz i dont think that they have CT7... but they might have gotten it since i left. Becuase they only carry some of the lotions from each company, not all of them. But i will see how it goes.

Re: Losing Color

Lol Cayenne, I used my salons level 4 bed today, the Solarwind 6000, and used a sample of bohemia.... regained some color, but i will see tomorrow after my shower and everything.... One question, is bohemia a cosmetic bronzer?
