If you aren't giving the "experience" you shouldn't be able to advertise with their name /logo etc... Think of all of the cheap products that are out there and people "think" they are getting a Mystic tan and are getting a "Breeze" or "vegas tan" I think they are being smart about their brand. |

Rep Power: 22 | Re: Mystic Tan Website!! I agree that salons that use "inferior" solution based on price should not be listed on their website. What about those of us that switched to what we feel in a much better product? I switched from Mystic to CalTan Premium because I felt it was better and so do my clients. I have several clients that drive past 2 closer salons because they like our solution better. If they keep this same approach when my new advertising comes around to be redesigned it will no longer have any mention of Mystic or their logo. It will only mention that we offer a premium spray booth experience. If every salon does this watch their "Brand Name" quickly lose it's value. Afterall if they do not want to acknowledge that we have it why should we as a salon owner? |

Rep Power: 0 | Re: Mystic Tan Website!! I wouldn't consider those to be inferior due to pricing specifically. Number one you are buying direct from the manufacturer so their raw costs are less. You don't have the distributors cut in there also. Snob appeal should have nothing to do with making money and your bottom line Their advertising budgets are less so the total of raw costs associated with the product are lower. Breeze in addition sells a tremendous amount of solution and will customize it to your exact specifications (even to match someone else's) For less money so your inferior product doesn't hold true. Mystic, Magic, and Cal tan are holding you guys hostage to charge you more for a product that you don't have to pay that much for. It's all marketing blackmail to force you into purchasing their solution . Our philosphy is simple make a great product and charge a fair price for it. We can make just about anything and do for less money. I call that aggressive and smart. GK |
