Artwork is the most difficult aspect for "do it yourself" web-sites, check with your distributors, lotion and bed manufacturers for finished images. Most of their finished images advertises them, instead of you so I'm not a big fan of them. If you have a digital camera, cut deals with some of your hot customers. Google for a Model Release Form they're all over the net, just verify that all your models are over 18 so they're old enough to engage them self in a legal contract. You can also visit http://www.onemodelplace.com/ to find local models. If you have and know a image program (Adobe Photoshop or something) or have a friend that does, I think it's better to own and copyright your own images, you can use them for web-sites, promotions, mailers, fliers, everything. Have Fun. Tom |

If you have any specific questions I might be able to help. Also you might want to check out Hemera Objects. I have their 600,000 image package. |

I approached him with an idea last year. He got several friends together, male and female, and we did a shoot for a local resturant. The deal was this; for their services I would provide at minimum a couple of professional images of them for their portfolios, along with a referral. If the project was sold, they'd recieve further compensation based on the sale. For salons, you'll have a bunch of potentials to approach for your own shoot. You could even turn it into a promo event. |
