Rep Power: 143 | Re: Theft I woudl call the parents and explain the situation. They should know. Maybe their 16 yr. old is going to the mall a lot?? I would make them aware of it and say there are no hard feelings, you just thought they should know. If a business called me and said one of my children stole, I wouldn't defend the child and go against the store owner. I would let the owner know I appreciate the call and at that time, I would sit my child down and tell them to tell me what happened,......"I know everything so don't try to LIE your way out of it!" BUT, that's just me. |

I would let the parents know about the situation and tell them that you handled it on your end but thought that they should know since maybe this is a problem elsewhere. She is 16, calling the cops on her will do nothing but make her "look cool" to her friends. |

It wasn't YOUR fault that she stole something, so I would definitely ban her from your salon, and since she's young I wouldn't call the cops, but I would her parents. Now they might be the my daugher does nothing wrong parents or they might be I don't give a **** what my daughter does parents. Either way you've done your part to let them know whats going on and why she can't tan there anymore |
