Rep Power: 0 | why do I tan red in certain areas? I have recently started a small salon. I have been working very hard at keeping my tan up.....I am a pretty bronze color all over, but my neck and chest is always sunburnt looking and people always comment on my "sunburn" I've tried so many things? Any specific product you could advise? I do use a facial lamp, have tried without too. I've even done a self tanner....it was a mousse???? thanks for any help you may be able to give me. |

I have not found a solution , I just use a instant bronzer to help even things out a bit. My face is always darker than my hands. I hate it! Any suggestions would be helpful with that too:) Thanks

So using a after tan lotion after tanning is the only way to go for me. Watch those good smelling ones from Victorias Secret....mineral oil-don't use for an after tanning or showering, they will strip that tan you work so hard for:)

I will sometimes get darker for about three days and then it seems I am back to my "plateau". My skin never seems thicker either, just I always need to moisturize, especially in the winter months:)
