Tanning Butter Darque /Rio Tanning Products - tanTALK

Hi Guys,

Does anyone know about Rio Tanning Products ? I'm considering trying a product by this company called Body Butter Darque. I've heard good things about it and think I might try it... not sure how much I want to spend on it though. Has anyone tried this? LIke, dislike, neutral, etc?

We seem to hear about the company a lot, but never about their lotions. Strange.

Actually we have Boby Butter Darque we really like it, no streaking and sales well.

We just started carrying the Body Butter Darque, can't keep it on the shelves. Selling great and customers really like it!

I have the Darque. It does okay but ( IMO) the bottle is too big (17.5 oz). The fragrance is decent and not overpowering. A lot of my clients prefer smaller sizes (8-10 oz.) because they like to change products often.

I have XO by Rio. I don't use it all the time cause it is not one of my favorites. But it is ok.

RIO has a couple of lotions that aren't too bad, but I personally cannot stand dealing with their constant sales pitches. It has been a couple of years since we carried any of their lotions and we couldn't give most of the crap away. JMO.

warning once you buy they will never leave you alone.you will start getting 10+ phone call per week! then they will pull the c.o.d delivery that you never ordered hoping you will pay for the package. they go buy several names rio tan, succa, r-sun, just to name a few all out of florida same crap different bottles.that just sit on your shelves. dont get suckered in by there high pressure sales.

I agree totally,,, They really aggravate the ***** out of you,,, they will never let you just say "No thanks , I'm not interested " if you do tell them that and finally get off the phone,,, the switch up callers and someone else will call,, it never, ever, ever, ever ends..... I've had one guy hang up on me from there, I'd never order from them,,, they are rude and pushy, if you tell them that you wont pay that much for their stuff,,,they even get a Manager on the line to drop the price and pressure you some more... I'm not normally a rude person,, but those folks have issues.....
