Just went up 36 cents a gallon here. WTH are they blaming it on this time??

I haven't checked the prices at the gas pump yet but I just opened my Michcon Natural Gas bill and it was 700.00. I'm having a heart attack right now!

I haven't been out of the salon long enough to see what mine is. Live a mile from work with no stations in between. Hmmmm,...curious now.
(But all four cars have a full tank so hope it goes back down in time! Anyone want to buy a 03 Diamante????) ~smile~

WASHINGTON (AP) - Oil prices rose Wednesday in a continuation of bullish market sentiment that drove crude futures $2 higher the day before, although natural gas futures declined amid mild temperatures in the U.S.
Light sweet crude for February delivery rose 28 cents to settle at $63.42 a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange, where refined products prices also climbed.
February heating oil futures rose by 2.13 cents to settle at $1.7845 a gallon and gasoline rose 3.4 cents to settle at $1.7845 a gallon.
Analysts partly attributed the big jump in oil prices on Tuesday, and again on Wednesday, to a Russian-Ukrainian natural gas dispute in which Russia cut pipeline runs, raising fears about the stability of global supplies.
They also said some investors looking for better returns than U.S. stock markets have delivered in the past year are piling into energy futures, creating unusually high demand for crude oil, gasoline and heating oil contracts.

NOW I understand why... I think!

99.9 x 4.5 = 449.55 a gallon - YIKES

My gas bill for my house went up from only like 40 per month to 130 per month last bill. All I have is gas H20 heater and dryer and fireplaces.
