I need some idea's - tanTALK

I am opening a tanning salon Dec 12th and I just received all my beds. We went with the Euro Walls, but we do not know what to do about music in the rooms. We do not want to drill anything into the walls. Also, I am looking at Helios as our software, what do you all think about that??? Is it easy to use? I also looked at tantrack, which one is better??? Any information and ideas would be greatly appreciated. Karen

We are also opening the later part of Dec 05. I decided to go with salon touch software since it seems much more user friendly than Helios. I have the Helios demo and really didn't like it.

As far as music, we are going with XM Music thru AOL. We will be using an amplifier and speakers in the wall at the head of the beds. I don't know how you could wire it now that you are almost complete. That is something that has to be done in the beginning.

All the beds at our salon have radios in them.

I like the whole idea of you controling the music thow...And the volume.

We just buy cute little radio/cd players for each room.They have lasted for 2 years now. We also provide headphones but every once in awhile we have some jacka** that blares the radio...we just cut their bed off. Problem solved.

We have SalonXpert, very easy to use and easy to train employees on. We also have little radio/CD players with headphones

We use Suntouch...but I think Salontouch is real similar. It's flaky at times but Helios was too difficult and time consuming.
