Turning Black? - tanTALK

I have had a customer who was coming in and trying various samples of creams before she would buy one. One day after she had gone tanning, I was cleaning the bed and noticed black marks all along the side of the bed. I could see leg prints and fingerprints, as if a person was sitting down to get in the bed. The marks wouldn't come off and I had to use bleach to remove them. The next time she came in, she told me that the cream made her turn black. She said that she noticed it immediately, before she even got in the bed, and that it was all over the towel and her clothing afterwards. Luckily it came out!
The thing was, I tried that cream, and had purposely left a blob on the bed to see what would happen, and I had no problem with it.
She continued to try various creams, and still, with certain ones, she would turn black!
What could be causing this? It is obviously some reaction between her skin and some ingredient in the products, but does anyone know what the ingredient is?

I think we need moore info - like the product.

Oh yeah dont know how long you been doing this but some clients are just crazy and or liars.

Sounds to me like she's using something other than your samples!

I'm in under a different name now. I wrote the original message. The first cream she used when this happened was Warm Sun Glow By Chloe ( a canadian line ) and I had asked her if she was using something else, but she said that she just uses a Jergens lotion, which, to me, wouldn't cause a reaction. Then she used Black Tea, and this happened right infront of our eyes. With the 'regular' brands she had no problem like the Fiesta Sun line and the Nuvo Bronz, but she was very particular with what creams she wanted to use.

titanium by swedish beauty would sometimes leave dark grey marks on the beds but all this is too weird..sorry
