Rep Power: 21 | I have stayed there twice and I personally was less than impressed. I actually think it is a little overrated! Especially when you can stay across the street at about 1/2 the price and then drive over and walk around Opryland. It is a little more convenient for the show. You would not have to drive over and park, you could just walk to the convention. I stayed at the Radisson a couple of years ago and it was okay. I think it was about $100 a night. Can't really remember for sure. This year I will be at either the Radisson, the Courtyard or Opryland. Haven't decided yet. Lots of choices, however some are filling up quickly. _________________ [ This Message was edited by: mikeytan on 2005-08-25 15:22 ][ This Message was edited by: mikeytan on 2005-08-25 15:23 ] |

Rep Power: 20 | for the room that is a lil bigger than the basic and has the balcony with the nice view i got quoted about $250/night...and with us we are gonna need 2 rooms so that is pretty pricey...i do like the fact though that it seems like it looks like a pretty nice place and has alot to offer with the resturants and the shopping and the forest like inside and what not...what hotel is across the street? is it still pretty nice and by any chance do you have their #? thanks |

Rep Power: 0 | For the extra money, I will travel back and forth. I have stayed at a couple of different ones across the street...Comfort and Days Inn. Both were less than $100/night and an easy drive (less than 5 minutes). This year we are at Courtyard. They have a shuttle but I will still drive so I can go when I am ready. I don't ever spend much time in my room so, as long as it is clean, I don't care where it is. |

Rep Power: 68 | No, it's the Gaylord Resort Opry Land. Same lil' ole building as the whole unholy event. You'd think, with all the money the ITA makes off of this, we could get a better discount on the crappy rooms. ~sheesh~ BTW, that's Genius on my left. (See Below)[Ooops, that would be your left?] _________________ "I am Belvedere, King of the TanTalkains" - are you being opressed old woman?
