Rep Power: 117 | I'm getting ready to purchase more beds. The ones I have now have frosted acrylics. Through research I was led to believe they allow for a more even tan. However, some customers say they don't feel like they get enough tan with frosted and prefer regular (see through). Is one better than the other? |

Rep Power: 0 | I had no idea frosted acrylics even existed! Neon, sounds like you're against them! ) We have brand new beds and brand new shiny clear acrylics, so I don't foresee us making any moves to frosted anytime soon. They seem more cosmetic then actually effective. When the time comes though, Neon can you teach me how to sand them down all pretty with that sandpaper you have! LoL |

Rep Power: 24 | I WAS TOLD BY SONNENBRAUNE AND UWE THAT THEY DO NOT DECREASE UV BUT ACTUALLY HELP AS ACRYLICS GET OLDER. AS I UNDERSTAND IT THEY "BEND" UV LIGHT, WHICH HELPS DISPERSE THE LIGHT MORE EVENLY IF AN ACRYLIC HAS A SCRATCH. |
