I had a customer that said they tried a DS bronzer on one leg and nothing on the other leg. They went in a base bed for twenty min. and said they saw no visible difference in the two legs. What do you say to a custy that says this?

Ok, maybe but how can we justify selling this (any) lotions that has no visible results. I understand that bronzers have a stain in them showing some tanning effect (fake) and tingles bring the blood to the surface (showing redening). Help me out here.

Any salon owners or managers that would like to tackle the question above?

Hmmm...I'm not a salon owner, but I have noticed that the darker my natural tan gets, the less I notice DS bronzers. When I had just reached a base tan, I could see the bronzer in Ultimate Love Junkie, but now I consider it to be an accelerator only. I would explain that DS bronzers are very light on people with darker tans and congratulate her on reaching a deep natural tan?

Was this person a new tanner...and from one session how long did they go.
What kind of skincare regiment have they been using? There are so many other question to ask to get the answer. Not all lotions are going to show immediate results..

Maybe they can get a bronzer from walmart and compare orange to brown! Then they will see results.
DS bronzers ARE very light. And one session isn't long enough to see such a difference that they were expecting.

Most bronzers have DHA in them. Check my past post.
