Has anyone tried the new orginal bronzmyst with the neutramist solution? It is supposed to be the same as the original but with less of a smell. If you have tried it, does it put out the same color? Also, if it supposed to be the same as the orginal, why does the new one say it last 5-7 days versus the orginal says 4-5 days? If anyone could help I would appreciate it.

I haven't tried "bronzmyst" but when I was researching "UV free" tanning I read articles written by dermatologists that suggested that skin works by drying up and flaking off the top layer therefore replacing the old with the layer underneath. This replacement process takes between 4 and 7 days depending on things like exfoliation and skin care. Experience supports this range although a few customers complain of shorter results or swear to longer results.

We do both "Airbrush" and "Spray Booth", my experience is that there are two factors, the quality of the juice you are spraying, and consistently even coverage. The quality of the juice is the most difficult, just because a juice produces great results on one person with a particular skin type and tanning level, doesn’t mean that the same juice will produce a great results all skin types and tanning levels. Test, test, test. Achieving consistently even coverage is matter of good training and equipment.

The best solution I get a response with all my customers is the new California Tan Premium Bronzer. For less $$$ than the mystic solution The solution does last 5-7 days and smells of citrus. I have sold it to over 40 salons, had one salon disagree with me. Call @ 800-767-4826 x304 if you would like to have a sample sent to you!

Tried it and it got all over the clients clothes, and didn't last nearly 4 days let alone 7. I paid top dollar (ran out of mystic and overnighted and a sat delivery of Cal tan cost me 576.00) NEVER AGAIN. I ended up sendint it back to Cal Tan for a refund.

California Tan Premium Bronzer is the best solution out there. I have tried several different ones and always end up using the Cal Tan. It leaves a wonderful bronze color and doesn't leave you with a nasty smell. The color lasts about 6 days. I will continue using Cal Tan over any other solution!

I highly disagree that Cal Tan is one of the better ones. Cal Tan sent us a free 5 gallon and I tried it on one of my employees and self and was not pleased at all. I yanked that solution out of my spray boothe as quickly as I could and Cal Tan couldn't pay me to use their solution. Now I know when customers talk about being orange, this is the color you get from Cal Tan.

I just didn't like how much came out onto you because of the consistancy difference between Mystic, I know the meter can be tweaked and all, but I sell Mystic Tan not a fraud.

I personally have switched 32 salons to the cal tan solution, As long as your customers are educated on how the mystic works as far as exfoliating and using moisturizers daily and damping dry not rubbing dry you should have no problems!! All I can say is try it yourself I'll even give you a free sample pm me if your interested! Also wouldn't you think that a lotion company who has been around much longer than the mystic booth has been out could produce a better spray?

didn't work for my clients... Not to say the elsewhere It couldn't work. I just feel confident that I am selling a TRUE Mystic tan, that is what I signed onboard for. I truly love the way Mystic works for me. Cal tan didn't look brown on me, it looked reddish.
