I sell 1 week , 2 weeks and 1 month packages, well this lady bought one prior to going on vaction & used it a couple times, she bought the 1 week. Yesterday she comes in after not being here for 2 months & wondered what happend to her pkg & I explained that it expired because she bought the 1 week which is seven consecutive days right, well not in her mind . She though it was 7 tans !!! So then I felt like an idiot explaining that she bought a week & NOT 7 tans....I can't believe what people can make up in their minds. So I gave her 2 free tans which was against my better judgment . What would you have done??

I would have done the same but made sure that she understood so in the future she didn't make the same mistake. We used to have people do that alot when we called our month package a '30 day package'. Now I explain that is for one calendar month from the first day they tan whether they use it once or 30 times.Most of the time now we don't have a problem.

I had to freeze a Girl's Month cause she called the Next Day after she Bought it and Told me that She Burned.... So ask "What Happen" ... She said " I also went to another Tanning Salon and Tanned for 15 min in there Bed the same day..... STUPID... But I froze it... I rarely try to Argue with Customers .. They are my Advertisement Ment Here!! Keep them Happy and Word-of-Mouth should be good

Common since is just that and some don't have it.

Had another lady (must be a full moon here) came in yesterday with one of my clients, bought Peepers , a pkt of lotion & 1-20 min session.,then about 5 min later comes out of the room & said she could not do it . She called today & wanted her $19 back. But she used the lotion and the eyewear was opened. ( she also said that she used to tan in her day ) I explained that we have a "no refund policy on Tanning Pkg" But that I would be more than happy to offer her a spray tan or a Moisterizer at my cost only for her to say she would think about it and might tell others not to come here....wtf are we to do ???

Seems like no matter what you do there will always be a few people who try to get around it and get something for nothing. Also, I guess we all can have 'selective memory' when it is convenient not to remember hearing something.

Having more packages to chose from and explaining expire dates helps.
