Rep Power: 20 | how many people on here advertise? does it pay off? we get alot of oppurtunites but we dont end up doing it alot...the last thing we did to advertise is we ordered keycards from helios..not a huge way to advertise but oh well..i think it would be kinda cool to "sponser" a cheerleading or pom team from a well known highschool in the area...reasons being everyone sees them and also alot of other girls in highschool look upto them...even though we already have alot of those type of girls that tan with us it would be cool to let the school know somehow that they tan with us....theres some other things i think would be cool....big billboard.etc. |

Rep Power: 0 | You'd be hard pressed to find any (or more than a very few) businesses that don't advertise. You need to bring in new clients as old ones move, stop tanning, etc. Even a sign out front of your business is a form of advertising. People have to know you're out there. The most effective form will be entirely dependent upon your promotions, demographics, area, etc. Some on here swear by radio, direct mailers and others. |

Rep Power: 19 | I was thinking of starting off with direct mail. Also, joining the Chamber of Commerce for a "ribbon cutting ceremony" and picture in the paper. Has anyone tried having magnets printed? |

Rep Power: 0 | VistaPrint.com has them for free as an occasional promo. I just got an offer from them today for 25 for free. Not sure they're very effective, but have staying power as people put them on their fridge and leave em. |
