Rep Power: 0 | Hi all, I have been reading all the great info each of you have posted. You guys and gals are great!!!! I have some questions that need answer, and I knew that you genuises would have the answers! Lets cut to the chase. First, I live in a small town with only about 7500 people with limited choices for thier tanning needs. My brothers building a new strip mall in an area that is GREAT!(Prime location) Sould I get 1 phase or 3 phase? Why? I got a great quote on 8 beds to start out with. 6 are the Soltech 28 bulbs heard great things about them. The other two are Sollux 40 bulbs with 3 facials for upgrades. The building is 1800sq foot. So plenty of room to expand. How about a lotion supplier. Best deals I see are on Ebay. I appriciate any responses. Ken |

Rep Power: 0 | You would'nt happen to live in South Carolina would you???? Just playing. I have done alot of research thru you guys, and im just alittle nervous about it all. My monthly expenses the way I figure would be around $3000. Thats alot of extra money on top of the monthly living expenses I have now. I will not be using this business as a means of income right now, I have a full time career. I am actully not anticipating making any money. But I would like to break even or close to it. My wife has been in this type of enviroment for A while as she is a cosmotologist by trade (she hasn't cut hair in about 5 years). She now works part time in a tanning salon and loves it. |

Rep Power: 0 | I hope you were kidding about the best deals being on eBay. If you want your customers using Bleach and Drain-O on your acrylics that might be the route to go. On that point, find yourself a good lotion distributor and never ever buy off eBay. It's called lotion diversion (do a search). Next, with 1800 sq. ft. I would expect your expenses will be much much more than $3000 a month unless you are paying cash for everything and since it's your brother will have no rent. My electric alone is half of that. I won't comment on your choice of beds, don't know much about them. Not sure where you are in this project but it looks like you are just getting started. I hope. Do lots more research, LOTS. The people on here will give you lots of help but help yourself first by doing searches on every topic you can think of. It's all been talked about before. Then if you still have questions about things, post them. It will save you alot of grief and snappy comments from other owners. I was easy on you. |
