Well, i am not sure i want to be part of this forum. Everyone deserves a tan. I have been tanning for a good 10 years now. I am not a small person. I have tanned in small beds and large beds. I have never heard such rude remarks!!! Yeah I may be sensitive to the topic. My salon will NOT be judgemental. I made sure my beds will accomodate any size person that wants to tan. Big people want to feel pretty too. I manage to tan all over, and i do it naked.

People turn you away for being big? Aside from maybe 2 beds, I think anyone would fit in ours. We do however get complaints from large people (whether they be overweight or just tall) that some beds are too small, we offer to let them use a larger one.

We have several beds with metal struts holding the acrylic...and we have a few with acrylic on acrylic....the later are the ones that will not hold the weight...the acrylics fracture at those pressure points where they hit!!! Most all of my ETS beds do have the metal struts...hence as far as I am concerned my better beds..I have tanned up to 480 lbs with NO problem in my ZX32 LE Speed System w/3 facials.. and my stand up....we installed a door to that room ...if you can't fit in the door you can't fit in the Lighthouse door (stand-up)...so again no problem there...So I would say trade in one of your old smokees and get a unit that can handle whatever arises...instead of trying to hide under your bottom lip...C-mon owners upgrade...there are plenty of beds in your price range to tan everyone...Good Luck and Have Great Weekend...
