Rep Power: 0 | Has anyone had a problem with people taking stacks of winkies or a strip of stickers? We have them on the counter for customers for free until I saw them taking handfulls of winkies and then see them unused in the rubbish or in the parking lot....the kicker was when a customer was taking about 10 heart stickers from the roll after she tanned to use on her notes to her friends she writes to. Needless to say they are behind the counter now and they have to ask for them. What do you do? Do you sell them or are they free at your salon? |

Rep Power: 113 | We sell winkies for a quarter, no problems with that - no profit really but it prevents people from taking more than one pair. The stickers we give out for free, usually not a problem - until the other day a car pulled up in front of my salon and a girl got out of the passenger seat, walked in to the salon, and started to reach in for a sticker. I almost, ALMOST, slapped her hand. Turns out they were on their way to ANOTHER salon. To quote Engfant..... "Peoples is stupid" |

Rep Power: 0 | We give winkies to clients who tan in the Sun Capsule for free and anyone who wants a sticker to monitor color gets one for free. We charge for winkies for those tanning in a bed. We have no problems with any of the above. |

Rep Power: 21 | I sometimes can't believe the nerve of people. I have had people ask me for stickers for when they are tanning outside and I'll give a few, but another salon. Give me a break. By the way, we charge fifty cents for winkease. I usally throw them in for walk-ins. Stickers are free but behind the counter. We try to put a note on customers' accounts that use stickers, extra towels, etc. It's a nice touch when you just hand them what they need. Of course, they all think I have a much better memory than I actually do. LOL |
