I'm not a professional and I'm not in the industry, but I do have a few questions that I think you guys should be able to answer on tanning. I just recently signed up for a tanning salon and have been going once every day for the past 4 days. I'm skin type two and rarely tan (but can still tan somewhat after long exposure in natural light). I'm still not as tan as i would like, but I'm impressed with the results up to this point, anyway on to my questions.

about how long does it take for a skin type two person (light skin, burns normally but can tan somewhat) to get a darker more noticeable tan?

I'm looking for some foods or tablets that will increase my melanin production and in theory increase my ability to get a darker tan what would you guys recommend?
I've heard that some vegetables include melanin cells in them.

I've read that the amino acid tyrosine is used to create melanin production in the body, if I took a tyrosine tablet from a vitamin shop would this increase my ability to tan?

Someone's been reading! LMAO, you're happy with the results you've gotten after 4 sessions? Um, I suggest you keep doing what you're, doing, just increase it a little each time. ~convulsing on floor now~
