Rep Power: 0 | I have been tanning now for over a month and haven't burned. I went in to a bed in my local salon, and after 7 minutes my lower and mid back began to burn. I ignored it and at 10 minutes I had to get out of the bed. I looked at my lower back and it looked purple. All night my back hurt like i had a REALLY bad burn. When I woke up the next morning my back was fine. It wasn't burned or anything. Also, the "burn" was kind of like a red rash, it was blotchy. Does anyone know what happened? it wasn't my lotion, I don't use tanning lotion on my back. Could it be from the bed not being cleaned properly with someone with a Tingle lotion or something? Thanks! |

Rep Power: 0 | http://www.tantalk.com/viewtopic.php?forum=1&topic=2336540 How much time was between going to sleep and returning from salon? Next time this happens, jump in a cold shower and if it is a tingle it will go away in an hour or two. |

Rep Power: 20 | It probably was a tingle product's residue left on the bed. Acrylics are not solid they have pores and some people are unaware of it. We always wipe the bed down 3 to 4 times after a client tans with a tingle to ensure that nothing is left on the acrylic. It doesnt mean that your salon did not clean the bed, they might have not been aware of the problem with tingles and cleaning the bed. I would talk to your salon professional about the problem and suggest thast it could be tingles left on the bed. If they didnt know about it they should be told. |
