It's a hit. Miami Slice.... just another knock off... I hate those people from Millennium/Olio/Succa/and all the rest. The newest is Vegas Tan, has anyone gotten the calls from them? The lady went crazy on me when I told her to remove me from my list because I have no intention of ever purchasing lotions from a company that contacts me via phone and continues to call even though I have asked every time to be removed from the list. |

Rep Power: 24 | I just got a call from them. How about this lady had no idea what she was talking about! I got the same, "I know you're busy, so I won't take too much of your time" line. I let her stumble through her script. And then I told her, "You need to practice your script because it doesn't seem like you really know what's going on and these other salon owners will chew you up." She then tells me that it's her first day on the job and that she will go through it again. I said no, you don't have to go through it again, I heard you, but you need to practice what you're saying. Then she goes on with the "if you buy 24 bottles today for $9.whatever, you will be locked into that price for the rest of the season and we will throw in 24 more bottles for free." I said, oh really, do you sample these lotions out. She says "no, we are a distributor and to cut down on costs, we don't do that." I said, you're not a distributor, you're a manufacturer. What an idiot. Then, I was thinking, it's her first day, I'm going to get something out of her. So, I said, how can you expect people to invest a couple of hundred of dollars into a lotion they don't even get to try. She says, that's why we give you free bottles. She wasn't getting it. I said, there are manufacturers out there who will give out FREE samples of their lotions. She told me to hang on a second while she asked her manager. I took that as my opportunity to hang up on her. What an idiot! |
