One of my members came in the other day and told me that her niece, who tans elsewhere, has a rash on her chest. They described it to me as red, blister type rash. She says it hurts and itches. She asked me if it could be an allergic reaction to the cleaning solution . I told her I did not know. Since I am a new salon owner I am still trying to figure it all out. Do you know if anyone has ever gotten a rash from the cleaning solutions? The other salon just brushed the young lady off so I am trying to help her out.

Unless she is rolling over in the unit, how could it be the cleaning solution . Center of the chest is an area that may not see the light of day often, and may perspire a bit more, they should caught down on there times........... IMO

It could be overexposure or she could have been sensitive to the UV light on her chest area..
Sounds like sun poison to me.
But best advice is to see a doctor.
