If anyone uses Helios to process their EFT's, you may want to verify that you're actually receiving all the money that you're supposed to.
What I recently discovered when I processed our monthly EFT batch is that on some customer's accounts the Helios daily report says that their charge card was processed properly when in fact the money was never deducted from their charge card. Then on other customer's accounts, it says their charge card was declined when in fact their card was charged and then it posted a balance due on their helios membership account.
In our situation, over $1,000.00 of charges were incorrect either because we didn't receive payment when it says we should or because customers were actually charge but helios said they weren't.
Helios tech support has been clueless and un-helpful in regards to how this happened or how to prevent it in the future.
If any other salon owner(s) have experienced the same or similar problems let me know so that maybe we could collectly inform Helios about this very costly flaw in thier EFT program. I'm afraid of what I'm going to find when I start reviewing the past months reports to see how long this has been happening. |
