Democrats and dermoterrorists vote against salons.

I get that. But I'm not trying to start another liberal vs. conservatives posting (been there, done that).

I just honestly don't understand how Cal Tan or any other company can boast that it "votes for" salons.

"We vote for salons" What does it actually mean? Anybody?

Like I said, I don't want to get into that again. I'm asking a sincere question.

Seems like it would mean just as much if I wrote "We vote for whales and orangutans!" on the top of every piece of my salons' promotional materials.

I'd ask Cal Tan but, although I like there lotions, I have had very little joy getting any help from their customer service side (not talking about my distributor, but with actual Cal Tan reps). Maybe tomorrow someone will be here that knows the answer.

"We vote for salons" came out of CalTan's PR campaign against online and flea market lotion diversion. CalTan markets itself as a "tanning salon exclusive" product line. This campaign is how they differentiated themselves from lotion manufacturers that don't work at keeping the supply pipeline clean.

Okay. So they don't really "vote" for anything. They should change their PR line to "we support salons" or maybe "we fight diversion".

"We make money, even when you don't".

"Salon quality at eBay prices".
