Rep Power: 0 | Hi Parts of my face at the front tan easily enough, but im having a real problem with the sides of my face. I went to tanning booths for ages and the white paleness was still there at the sides. I've also put on fake tan on these parts without any success. Does anybody know how many applications of fake tan have to b used on really pale parts of the face before some color comes out? As ive said ive tried a few times with fake tan,and my skin is really naturally pale in these parts. |

Soemtimes it's just a matter of using a quality primer instead of junk from Wally's World. A lot of people have patches of oily skin along the sides of the face and not just over the "T Zone" of the brow and nose areas. Pick up a quality primer, use self-applicator and see if this helps. Any fake bake you put over your skin is simple a "wash" over whatever your natural color is. Ever do any water coloring in kindergarden? If you try to put a watery color over a dark color, all you can get is a blur of watercolor over the dark base. Your skin is like this. The fake bake is going to allow the natural color of your skin to show thru. Multiple applications of the fake bake have a significant downfall... you end up looking like somebody sprayed you with Krylon spray paint that you can get from the hardware store. So, unless you want to look orange I'd avoid doing that. The second thing is to have someone photograph you from the front and sides. I'll bet that when you look at your skin in the mirror that you are seeing light reflections on the skin at the sides due to the reflection of the light, and refraction of the mirror. More than likely your skin is the same tone on your face when photographed. |
