Okay I went tanning yesterday for the first time & I have natural dark skin so I went for 10 minutes I didnt burn at all so today I went for another 10 minutes & I'm fryed I was wondering how long should I wait to go again how can I make the burn go down & how long it usually takes for it to go away? Mind you I have NEVER burnt in my life!

Also I didnt use any lotions while tanning do you reccomend to?

Pink, if you are burned, you should wait until it is completely gone before tanning again...burnt skin is damaged skin, and you don't want to tan on top of a burn. Ask them next time you tan if maybe they accidentally put you full time in a 10min bed instead of 10min in a 20min bed. Since you are darker, they may have assumed you wanted the 10min bed. (of course assuming anything in this industry is a very bad idea, but that may have been what happened). As far as lotion goes, yes, it is a must to use lotion. It makes tanning much easier and it's much more beneficial for your skin to use lotion. The employees where you tan "should" be able to direct you to a lotion that you will like.

XO pink is right and wrong. When you tan your body is going through the process for the next 24 - 48 hours. What you did was tan while your body was still tanning from the first session. That is why you burned. If total is right and they put you in the wrong kind of bed and more or less doubled up your time. Well this makes them highly incompetent and i would find another place to tan.
