Rep Power: 0 | Hello, First allow me to thank everyone that has responded to my newbieish questions so far. Now, I am putting together a website for the grandopening of my service sooon. I was wondering if anyone could recommend a site or a resource where I may find tropical or tanning specific images and graphics such as palm trees, sunsets, etc for use on a website and possible logo? I appreciate your help, and I hope to hesr from you soon. |

Whats in it for them...how are they going to look or feel tanning at your salon? Grip marketing created our second generation of our website. I believe it should be utilized as a marketing tool to get people in your salon not a company brochure! |

Rep Power: 0 | To clarify I am going for a recogniseable theme here, which has nothing to do with the information on services or content of the website. First and foremost, I do not intend to open a tanning salon, but rather a mobile airbrush tanning service. Second, I plan to stick with a parimary theme that is recogniseable and vivid in an otherwise bleak enviornment (nyc in the winter). I am providing my web designer for ideas and themes I prefer for the site so this is my purpose for asking. Now, having clarified my situation any assistance on where I may look would be appreciated. |

Rep Power: 22 | It's always a good idea to provide direction (tone, positioning, sex levels, background, support, etc) to a web designer/developer because you'll end up with what you wanted. Otherwise, when you say, "I don't know what I want, surprise me", that's exactly what you'll get. For images there are plenty of stock photography houses. Search. Or when using a decent webmaster, they will already have images for your use. For instance, Grip has over 2,000,000 images in our Art Library for our clients use. That's one of the advantages you get when hiring a pro. For those DIY'ers, buy some images. |
