How to bring in New Customers - tanTALK

How does everyone bring in new customers? I like the free tan week, but what if you only have 5 base beds? What have you done in the past that has worked?

well for me its mostly been WORD OF MOUTH!! i have done valpak..did not work so well i got alot of FREE tanners..

Here, I've found that blasting your name, year round works. When it comes time for someone to tan, they go for the name they know. The first one that comes to mind.

I have tried Val-Pak and it never has worked for me either! I like Advo that has worked. We also make deals with our local pizza places for their box tops!

I have tried everything, from Pizza Hut - ValPak. What we have done in the past is register receipt coupons. We would do 4 tans for $4 in 4 days. Have you ever gone to the grocery store and looked at the back of your receipt? Well we have done that and we would make alot off of that. It sounds pretty cheesy, but it works. Not as good as word of mouth though!

Seriously, We have done a lot of Cross-Promotion with Like-Businesses. Travel Agency, Florist, Jewelry Store, jenny Craig, Beauty Salon (no tanning) and nail salon, Tux Shop, etc.
