these promos only work if you have a huge market of tanners to work with. if you are in a small market like i am i would make a killing over the weekend, but a good part of my market won't need to make purchases anytime soon. it looks cool to do a couple of thousand dollars in one or two days but i bet my numbers will be well below average over the next couple of weeks balancing out the money i would make.

plus, whenever you give something away for free you lower the perceived value of the service. it seems to cheapen the service and image that we try so hard to build.
