Rep Power: 0 | I still can't believe people pay 90.00 a bottle. Island Dream from Fiji is 40.00 a bottle. Is it that much of a differance? I know you salon owners mark up the price so you can make money. I think marking it up 4 times sometimes more is a RIP OFF. |

Rep Power: 0 | I don't think anyone marks up 400%. If they do, then shop elsewhere if you don't like it. Lotions are about the same markup as any other product in just about any other industry. I work by day for a consumer electronics and security products manufacturer (and own a salon as my "other job") and the markups are the same. |

Rep Power: 20 | 400%?? who has a 400% mark up?? I need to open a salon in that area....the mark up on lotion is decent but once you factor in all the free samples, shipping, and all the other variables it's about the same as anything else, maybe a little better but we need to eat too. and now with all these places giving tanning away for $9,$18 or 20 bucks a month we need to pay rent somehow. Also, there are some pretty darn good products out there that retail for less than $30. |
