Rep Power: 0 | Hello all. Well i've been tanning before, quite a few times. I've gone everyday for the past week. I have never used any kind of lotion or anything, becuase i tan very well. I've only been tanning for about a week, but i used to do it a while ago as well no different then what i did in this past week. Now i am wondering about lotions, and what to do with them. Now there are different types of lotions. I here words like "Tinlge". What's that??? anyways. something that has my fancy is that Tattoo Dark Tanning serum. Now With a lotion, do you put it all over your body, and then just lay right down on the bed???? hense getting Lotion all over the tanning bed. I know i sound like an Idiot but who knows. Please help me out with the lotion facts, and lotion on bed facts hehe thatx all. Kyle |

Rep Power: 29 | Nah it's not a big thing BUT you should be using something everytime you go tanning. It's like showering without cleanser (notice I DIDN'T say soap). The ACT of cleaning is there but nothing is really getting accomplished. |

There are no dumb questions when it comes to tanning. You should never feel uncomfortable to ask anything, be it about lotions, the beds, etc. Tingle factor lotions have a niacin product in them which brings the blood to the surface of the skin, thereby tanning you a little faster. You will feel a tingling, sometimes even heating sensation with these lotions, and they make your skin appear red/blotchy for a short period of time after tanning, so take this into consideration especially if you tan on your lunch hour. As engfant said, you always want to tan with a lotion bought at your tanning facility. And I know I said it already, but I can't stress it enough....don't be afraid to ask any questions...that's what they are being paid for, and hopefully they know the answer!!! And someone cleans the bed after you use it...so lotion on the bed is no problem...we're used to it!! _________________ [ This Message was edited by: TotalEclipse on 2005-02-01 17:07 ] |
