Rep Power: 0 | I have a gift certificate for two mystic tans and my sister's wedding is next weekend. My sister told me that two sessions would give you a more even look. When I called the salon, the lady told me that I shouldn't go twice in one week. Is this really true? What if I do go twice in one week? Will it look rediculous? I really want to look my best so if twice in one week is not a good idea, I won't do it..... someone please let me know what you think... |

Rep Power: 0 | I've gone twice in a week. I was doing it to purposely break all the rules of the unit I just bought and put in my salon. It looked fine, in my opinion. Your profile doesn't say whether you're male or female. As I mentioned, I purposely broke all the rules on purpose, which included not shaving. This was the only part that didn't look good. My face always looked "dirty" where I didn't shave. Other than that, I looked fine. You might also check into "Levels". Mystic, I believe, offers 3 levels where they vary the time. If they don't, I know Hollywood and MiracleMist (same units and is the one I own) do. They are 8,10, and 12 seconds. The disty recommended to not offer the 12, since most of the solution just drips off you after you get past 10 seconds. We don't even bother offering the 10 second. Hope this helps. And of course....YMMV (Your mileage may vary, meaning everyone is a little different). |

Rep Power: 28 | She told you 2 because, with out a base tan your Mystic will look good probably 4 days...and I'm hoping she wanted you to have a pratice run first to work the kinks out. Tanning Takes Time, in all it's forms! |

Rep Power: 21 | You can go into a booth every day, if you wanted to. Of course you will not look that great forthe wedding. You should get your first tan 3 days from the wedding then the next tan the day before the wedding. You will be the 2nd best looking woman there. |

Rep Power: 0 | I am a woman, sorry... I haven't filled out my profile yet.. I am a fairly pale person but look good with a tan... Thank you so much for your responses. Do you think I will be fine then if I go twice this week? Maybe I can go tomorrow and then on Friday Morning.... Hopefully that will be good... |
