hi all ,a client came in today was buying a 6.00 pkt of lotion . but her month was exp 4 days ago and only had 6.50 on her . would you sell the pkt to her and and tan her for free. or tell her she cant tan today and sell her nothing in the end.

what would you do #1 , then what would your staff do #2.

Do it once and make a note in their record. The next time, nicely remind them that you helped them once, but once is all they get.

I would tan her and ask her to bring the $ for the session next time. We have this happen all the time. We have never had anyone not bring the $ in.

I have had similar situations. I ask them if they wanna put their session on their account. So you might lose out on the session that only costs you 50 cents, but you will have gained with the sale of the product.

I would sell her the packet and the tan and let her owe me the money for the tan...put my own money in, so they pay me back.

Looks like your doing them a favor, but your doing yourself the favor
