For those salons with no trash cans in the rooms... - tanTALK

When I read about this yesterday it has made me seriously consider removing the trash cans from the rooms. Not only will it cut back on the nastyness (ie. peeing & used maxi pads) but we will also save money on bags
For those of you that do this...have you ever had any problems or complaints about no cans in the rooms?

No complaints here but you will find quite a bit of 'stuff' thrown on the floor, and behind the beds. Just be sure it do a thorough check upon cleaning.

No not at all - make the bed cleaners pick up the trash.

Never had a complaint. We do have a trashcan in the hallway just outside of the room. We also posted a small sign that asks tanners to please throw used stickers and other trash in the can in hallway, to help keep the room clean for the next tanner. It's amazing you have to tell people, but it still seemed to help.

Come on? You have to have some place for these people to put their discards. Otherwise they will make their own disposal sites.

I just can't imagine that there are that many totally disgusting people that would warrant removing the trash cans. I've seen maybe 2 gross things in 5 years. I don't think it's that big a deal to empty a nasty trashcan - whatever it holds - better in the can than on the floor. I would rather confront the people - you know who they are - or post a sign if you don't to please use the facilities provided before tanning - we will be happy to delay or reset the bed to accommodate the call of mother nature.

Well jo try to imagine some more. The most shocking thing to me was that of the 5 or 6 times that it happened to us over a couple of years, it was always a woman, and 3 or the 5 times it was a woman that you would never have suspected. That's all I know about, because we only had cameras the last year and a half so we could see who came out of the rooms.
