Rep Power: 0 | Does anybody have a list of forbidden lotions? Other than from experience or reading the ingredients for specific oils or additives... does anybody have a list of forbidden lotions that they are willing to share (and I'm not talking about diversion lotions or manufacturers.) I've got empty bottles of knock off stuff and stuff from the dollar store that I purchased from my customers (as a discount on a better lotion) that I use as examples. Any body got a list? |

Rep Power: 24 | The stuff they sell at Sally"s is tolerable. Outdoor lotions of course is a big no no. Some customers don"t know the difference, so you can"t blame them. Luckily up here they don"t sell too much indoor lotion at Wal-Mart, only the no name stuff. We tell our girls to ask "May I see the eyewear and lotion you"ll be using today." If it"s stull they can"t use, sell a lotion on the shelf. |

Rep Power: 20 | Jancy, we never want to tell people no when it comes to lotions....we advise them that the results the will get with their $5 Ocean Potion from Wally world will be far inferior to that which they could acheive if they would use something more potent, but we would rather they use something than nothing. The only thing we forbid here is oil or gels of any kind. I too am curious as to which specific lotion list you have Pam..I'll keep my eyes on this post for updates!!! Oh...and Jancy, you must be so excited your marine is coming home in 20days!!! My fiance' is an Air Force pilot...he'll be home Feb 19th..so I have a few more days than you, but I'm still going whacky with anticipation and excitement!!!!! Take care! |

Rep Power: 0 | I will post it tomorrow. I have spent lots of time cleaning walmart goo off of my beds. Also, I strongly discourage spray lotion/oil of any kind. It makes a mess in the entire room and is hard to clean after it gets baked onto the exterior of a hot bed. Most, if not all, of my list is WalMart or drugstore junk. Anything that I can find in any disty catalog I will let them use although I try to educate them on the benefits of a better lotion. |
