Rep Power: 0 | Hi! I have been tanning regularly now for about two years. I have a decent tan, but not nearly as dark as I would like. This past summer, I began tanning at a salon that uses Bronze S Twister bulbs, and I've had pretty good results. Recently, I began trying a few different lotions, mostly Swedish Beauty products, which the owner of my local salon insists are top of the line. I have used Dangerously Dark and like the dual-bronzers. I've also tried Safire and even the new Unforgiven with tingle and dual or triple-bronzers. All are good products, though expensive. All the products claim to give you the best tan possible. But, what do you recommend as the absolute best tanning lotion to get the darkest tan? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated! |

Rep Power: 25 | I agree w/ tanu.... for instance in my personal opinion, Rasberry Tini and Worship work best for me... It all has to do with your skin type. Before buying an expensive bottle, you should purchase samples of different ones until you find what you think works best for you.. I myself have never had any luck with swedish beauty. I have used the definately dark, and saw no real difference, but when I used Worship I saw immediate and lasting results.. When I hit what seemed to be a plateau, I switched to rasberry tini and off I went again to a different darker level of tanning.. It is sort of like perfume.. you may wear one brand for years, but as your body changes the way that one perfume smelled on you is now different, because your body chemistry is constantly changing through the years... Hope this helps |

Rep Power: 0 | Thanks for the feedback! I do realize that there are limits to how dark a person can get, though I've seen people with very light complexion reach dark tanning levels I would have never imagined. I've been a bit disappointed with the dual and triple-bronzer lotions because I can literally see the "tan" disappearing when I come out of the shower1 I also searched for the Bronze Bondage lotion on Ebay but did not find any results. No samples yet in my local salon. |

Rep Power: 0 | I don't think buying a lotion from a salon necessarily makes it safe or even better lotion. There's always the possibility that the salon or their distributor could get a bad batch. I think you may be putting too much emphasis on the tanning lotion. I know quite a few people who tan without lotions but moisturize their skin really well. I would advise that before I would pay an outrageous price for a lotion in a salon. |
