Rep Power: 0 | OK, I've decided I have to start doing much better selling lotions and upgrades after getting on the highway. Here is the car that pulled onto the surface road in front of me. http://www.caranddriver.com/article.asp?section_id=19&article_id=736 6 Being a car guy, but domestic, there are certain sounds that result in immediate ummmm.....attention from certain parts. Normally it would be a Big Block Chevy, or a beautiful frame up resto of a Cuda. However, the note on this cars exhaust is IN _ FREAKIN _CREDIBLE!!!! He had a hard time keeping up with me on the on-ramp (his 1/4 mile time: 10.5; mine 10.1...I was on a fuel injected sportbike 2001 HondaF4i) OK...so any buyers??? Here's an awesome pic: http://www.theautobahn.com/forum/f6_attachment_.php?&attachmentid=848&twi dth=1024 _________________ EDit: Here is the exhaust note I heard. Click on "Accelerating". The driver I heard was much smoother on the gas pedal and the MP3 doesn't do it justice, but you'll get an idea about 10 seconds into the audio bite. http://www2.porsche.com/english/usa/carreragt/modelinformation/experience/sounds/default.htm[ This Message was edited by: JohnnyComeLately on 2004-12-07 20:47 ] |

Rep Power: 21 | Not to burst your bubble, but there is no way your bike would ever runa 10.1 (maybe with a turbo .) My buddy races a 2003 GSXR 1000 and has yet to crack into the 10.2s. I have a CBR 1000rr and would be happy with a 10.6. Here is a link with PROFESSIONAL riders' numbers and I can guarantee you they practically fry the clutches to get these numbers. I'm not saying you wouldn't beat this car as few would punish these supercars the way they're supposed to be punished. http://www.sportrider.com/bikes/146_perf_nums/ (Your bike is listed at a 10.75.) Now, back to tanning... |
