Tanning bad for, ahem, parts of body? - tanTALK

Hey I was wondering if I could find some help on this subject. I've been tanning for a couple months now and have been told that if you tan nude, a guys penis can be harmed by the light? I was told they have guards or something to help?

Not sure if this is a rumor but want to make sure, Thanks for any help!

I have been tanning for a long time, well before I ran a salon, and there has never been any problem...though I have burned my buns a time or two--old faithful has been just fine...

Of course there are companies that will try to tell you otherwise, because they have something to sell you...

I've never worn anything to "protect" the wang. Rather it be the same color as the rest of me.

You can cut the ends out of your sock.

Some guys are just concerned about burning it...If they have only tanned with trunks on, it might be an issue.
