That's cause no one can afford to buy one and then relamp it

"So they use 1000 watt lamps, got the 100 from another post. Now you're saying 5 sessions per hour? Averaged out? So that's $6375 per week or about $25,500 per month based on my hours of operation? Are you dreaming? I wish!!!!!!!!"

From a PM I rec'd from unnamed.

it costs about $3000.00 to relamp my matrix.
off hand i don't have the exact bulb configuration but some are 650w and some are 1000w. they last about 500 hrs but i change them before that. the ballast have three power settings low, medium, and high. i run mine on the medium setting with excellent results.

Ever take a 6series Mercedes for it's "check up"? $6700 check up. Imagine getting an acryllic for it. Doubt Loop can help you there.

I would love to take a ride in one of those things.

It typically costs anywhere from $1500.00 - $2500 to relamp a high pressure bed. Our beds have 18, 21, and 24 lamps in them. We have had high pressure beds since 1995 and have tried different lamps from different companies but have found that Heraeus works the best. We typically change them in the 500-600 hour range. We use Ultrabronz beds and the lamps are all 1000 watt.

The Entropy has 46 1000W keyed base lamps. They will most likely cost $59-$89.00 each lamp.

Also keep in mind the Entropy lamps degrade much slower than what you are accustomed to from 1000 watters because they are underdriven.

I have had Ultrabronz 818's since the beginning of 1994 and let me say, the price has dropped drastically, but still not enough. I normally use Haraeus, and you can do price wars from $69-$90 a lamp...depending on who wants to get the sale bad enough. I have tried BLV and they don't last as long. Just got a postcard in the mail yesterday about replacement lamps for Ultrabronz 818 and Sunsport 2021 for $49.50 per lamp. I have come to believe that is probably too good to be true. However, i can't resist trying it out. So, I will buy ONE lamp and track it. If anyone wants to know about that lamp company email me.
