I just recently started spray tanning in my salon. I have had several clients, & family members, complain about how cold the solution is. While I'm spraying, they have chill bumps all over their bodies, and when I go over certain areas, i.e.- sides & lower back, they can not stand it & end up jumping or moving away from the spray! Is this a problem anyone else has, and if so, what can I do? The solution can't be heated, can it?

yeah i have the same thing happen..think of it like this..when you go into a swimming pool..where does it feel coldest? belly, sides its because those are the warmest places of our bodies!!

Same thing here....I try to warn clients that it is going to be cold, they are less likely to jump and move then.

If you run the solution cup on the gun under warm water, would that hurt the effectiveness of it?

ALOHATANCA 11-03-2004 01:07 PM

Good question!!! I do know that DHA will beakdown faster in warmer conditions, so this might be a factor.
