Hello everyone. I am so lucky to have found this site, I have a few gripes about the salon (if you can call it that) I poorly chose to join. 1. the beds are crack at the top which causes my back (and when I flip my chest) to get super hot very quickly. 2. I was verbally lied to about the "credits" and "coupons" I recieve in the mail. 3. I found out a week after I joined this place cannot get out of my contract for a year without paying the full amount for the year. which is pretty standard.and I understand why. 4. had no idea what Smart Tan was only said yea, I took a week-end class to be certified. 5. when I asked about tanning lotion vs. a tingler vs a bronzer they could not tell me the difference, only which ones they liked (which was not the same one)lol So, I am stuck in this place for a year afterward I will be changing to a real salon where people know what their talking about. I have not problem saying who this place is. (not sure if it is against the rules) I am thankful to the site for answering my questions long before I posted. This is a great website for information and I am hoping friendship for many years to come. I did not know where to post this so I chose the open forum. thanks for reading.

I am sure you could get out of your contract, tell the salon that you are not comfortable tanning in a place with cracked beds which is probably against board of health policies anyway .. Let them know that .. I don't think you will have any issues if you tell them that especially with all the bacteria that builds up in any cracked bed that is a health hazard.. Get a doctor's note..
