Hey all! First post here. Right now I live in Ohio and winters are killer, so I tan every once in awhile in a bed to keep some color in me. My family lives in Texas though and I am possibly moving there in a few months. My question is this.. I know the weather is real nice and it's always sunny in Texas (El Paso). If I lay out in the winter months can I still get a tan even though it may only be 50 or 60 degrees in December, but it's sunny, will I still get a tan? Will I have to lay out longer? Also anyone who lives in Texas or the El Paso area do you like it there? I visited this summer for a few weeks but I wasn't really there long enough to get a good feel for the city. Thanks and take care all.

Yes. I went through Basic Training for the Air Force at Lackland AFB in Texas. I was there in January and February. I left with a tan on the back of my neck from all the marching.
