I want to get a website started and just want to see who any of you would recommend for hosting?

Hi Sandstan, are you going to do all the work yourself or do you also need someone to put it up for you? We used WebWolf Design for both design and hosting. We love them - very reasonably priced and fast - they had our site up in 2 days and they make changes the same day you submit them and they are the nicest people. Here's their link:

I personally created http://www.sizzlestan.com and host it on my own servers. We charge $19.99 a month for web hosting and could easily make you a website. Price on the site design would depend on the scope required.

I will definitely look into the both of them. I'm pretty good at designing myself but if the price is good I of course wouldn't mind someone doing it for me. Thanks for the info. I will look into.... Thanks.

grip marketing has a good shopping cart feature and instant e-mail notification program....I like it because they will put up our specials each time we change our promotions....our web guy was painful so this is a nice addition.

Don't be taken in by $6.95 or $9.95 services that strip out all of the server side processing features needed to make your site more robust. There isn't anyone out there who can't sell a whole lot less quality for a little less money. You get what you pay for.
