Rep Power: 108 | I'm sure it has its place, but you have to consider whether or not your city/town will be a market for it. Booths are too dang expensive and when they start getting cheaper to buy, you won't be able to charge as much as they are now. If I were to do it, I would consider "hand" applied systems (airbrushing). This of course will require more a personal "relationship" with the client and depending on your employee situation and demand, you may need to dedicate or have available, someone to do while someelse tends to UV tanning. Personally I think that those who promote it are undermining what we in the UV business have been trying to accomplish for years, and that is to promote UV exposure in moderation and not scare more people out of the "sun". Just my opinion of course. |

Rep Power: 30 | It's all gunna tank and evolve into airbrush /handheld body detailing. Booths will still exist but not like they are now. Fake is fake is fake and there's nothing you can do about it. DHA is DHA. This isn't some new MYSTICAL solution . H2O and DHA, been around for a LONG TIME. As soon as the sun is NOT SO BAD and it sticks, bye bye fake crap. $5/spray. DHA $10/gallon. It's all about the application and that's all it's ever been and we need to stop kidding ourselves. Learn to use an airbrush and you should be in the correct direction. There's one thing money can't buy and that's experience. People think they can skip that part by picking up an "AUTOMATIC" booth. Nope. |

I couldn't agree more! Liken the spray/mist on thiny to washing your car (Hummer for you kiss *** salons). Having it done by hand is always better than going to the car wash. |

Rep Power: 21 | spray tanning is relitivly cheap, go to your local wal mart. Hit the garden center and get a 2 gallon weed sprayer, fill it with iodine and alcohol, Wo-lah, you now have a complete spray tanning system. I would not take one if they were free, I did a mystic and it turned my bed sheets brown. I will stick with the real deal |
