teeth whitening? Which brand is best? - tanTALK

I am looking into adding the whole teeth whitening thing to my salon. Any opinions on what's good and bad about it and which brands are good/bad?

I went to my dentist on this one. Sure it cost me $350 but it only costs $15 for solution refills and the trays fit perfectly. The ones sold by various people on here make a mess. The customer drool, the hydrogen burns their throats after a few days and the clean up - can you imagine. I wouldnt get them and never saw any salon owner in here state they made money with them.

Speak up guys if I am wrong.

Go ahead and sell these products in your salon, but don't let anyone use them while they tan....................... from what I've read so far, it's a salon owners and a tanners nightmare.

Right. I don't know where people are going wrong. If your teeth are yellow, figure out what's causeing them to turn yellow (assuming the brushing technique twice a day WITH TOOTHPASTE isn't enough) and STOP IT. Yellow teeth is the FIRST AND MOST OVBIOUS sign of abuse. Whether it's coffee, smoking, or an eating problem (ever seen a puker's teeth? Brown yellow, worn and nasty). There is a reason dentists charge what they charge. It's called a CONTROLED ENVIRONMENT by a PROFESSIONAL with an INSURANCE POLICY.
Wanna whitten teeth? Go to dentistry school.
