Heard through an unrelaible source that registration for ITA in Orlando is low. Also heard they have canceled the Texas venue because of Orlando registration being low. I guess that means back to Opryland next year!!
Anyone have thoughts on why Fl and TX is a good or bad location?

It's still early ! We didn't sign-up until October for Nashville last year.

I agree with WestSide, the jury's not out yet.

As to thoughts about Orlando...it is a plus to move the show from city to city each year as this builds the show. More attendees have told us that "I'm not going because I've seen Nashville". People would attend just to see San Francisco, Atlanta, Manhattan, Chicago, and so on...there are plenty of venues in those convention cities.

Glad I put unreliable source just called ITA and they said next years show is scheduled for Nashville anyway. They said Texas is 2007.
So who knows!!!

Where did you find out that it was in Texas in 2007? I thought I saw on the ITA website earlier this year that they were roatating between Nashville and Florida.

I was told last year the venue had to change this year because nashville had been booked for something else, that was the reason for change

I have heard the same story, that ITA was cancwelling returning to Orlando in 2 years as well as going to Texas in 2007.

For now the show is set for:

04 - Orlando
05 - Nashville
06- Orlando
07 - Dallas

I have been the last two years and will continue to go to the show, however, last year I stayed at the Gaylord Opryland Hotel, and will never ever stay at one of their facilities again, overpriced and the hotel rooms were nothing impressive. I heard this same response from several individuals that stayed there last year. Stay at a nearby hotel and spend your money on classes, seminars, or the SLOW season.

The hotel was a WOW, but the rooms were average and pricey. They only advantage to staying at the the hotel was convience; come and go as you wanted.
