Rep Power: 23 | sunkissedtan: We recommend that salon owners attend the ITA show and Solar Seminar in order to maximize what both of these great events has to offer. The ITA World Expo is the show to go to when you want to see, touch, sample and experience all of the latest lotions, tanning units, sunless options and accessories the industry has to offer. (Of course, there's also a lot of people to meet and fun things to do, as well.) Once you know what you plan to purchase for the upcoming season, Solar Seminar is definitely the place to seal the deal. With five days and four nights in this intimate networking environment, salon owners will have plenty of opportunity to get some great one-on-one face time with the top manufacturers. This makes the event perhaps the best investment a salon owner can make for their business. As you can see, these two great shows compliment each other, and we hope to see you at both! _________________ [ This Message was edited by: John Ribner on 2004-07-29 15:30 ] |

Rep Power: 24 | This all sounds wonderful, I've been to Jamaica and it is beautiful. But, $979 for a maid and butler are extreme. I wish I'd have jumped at the $799 pricetag. It's another $600 for the flight. I can get the flight and the suite for $1100, it's just not inclusive. I'm counting my change and will see what I can do. Cheers! |

Rep Power: 23 | As my dear friend Linda has alluded to, Island Sun Times has partnered with Corporate Planners, a professional meeting environment management company, to help with all things Solar Seminar '04. The folks at Corporate Planners are professional, courteous and above all, very experienced with international travel and, particularly, Jamaica and Half Moon Resort. Our strategic partnership with them will truly benefit both the Solar Seminar event and everyone wishing to attend it. If you have questions about travel costs or anything else, we know they'll be able to help, so give them a call ... That number again is 877.855.7851. |

Rep Power: 23 | Linda: All day and all night - there's always something going on at Solar Seminar '04! But if you want more specific details, hang tight. We're working feverishly to finalize everything and as soon as we have that info, I will promptly post it here on TanTalk for all the world to see. |

Rep Power: 23 | Here’s one Solar Seminar ’04 scoop I can give you: in a matter of a few days salon owners will be able to cast their votes for IST’s Industry Choice Awards online! We’ve had a flood of phone calls and e-mails from salon owners who are eager to take part in this first-ever industry event. Rather than wait for the September/October issue (where the ballot will appear) we’re working on getting the ballot on our website as soon as possible in order to get your votes rolling in. For those of you who haven’t heard, the Industry Choice Awards gives salon owners the opportunity to vote for their favorite lotions, lamps, tanning units, accessories and people in the indoor tanning industry. The winners will be awarded at a special red carpet gala to be held on the final night of Solar Seminar ’04. In other words, it’s the Oscars for the indoor tanning industry! For the complete story, follow this link: http://www.islandsuntimes.com/07-04/fs_industry_choice.html |
