Rep Power: 0 | I am new to airbrush tanning by 7 months. I am still learning every single day. My question to the group is: How long will a DHA Solution last before going bad? How do you know when it is no longer good? I was told to keep my solution in a dark cool place and it will last longer..........but was is longer? My tanning is slow and only do a few a day right now. It seems when the summer time hit, they ran to the beach! haha I was doing 5-7 persons a day ... now down to 2 or 3 a day. I don't want the product to go bad. How can you tell when it is old??????????? Angela in Tampa |

Rep Power: 0 | Yes correct, after you open the bottle or jug, how long before it goes bad? When I got the job of spray tanning people, there were 3 jugs open and the girl was only using one of them. I have tried to run through them as fast as possible, but the liquid inside now has a green tint to it (on the lid and rim of the jug). Was that the color of it to begin with....there is no lable on the jugs to call find out any information. I did order a jug of 10% from Jamaica Me Tan. The sample I got from them had a broze tint to it..........not green! Thanks |

Rep Power: 20 | I have everything I need to do airbrush tanning, but I can't seem to find the time to practice and get experienced enough to spray anyone. I am the only tanning salon in our small town (less than 9000). I have had lots of calls on it, but I am afraid I won't do it right. Any suggestions that will help me? |

Rep Power: 0 | Hi Tuscanysun, Unfortunately the only way you will get comfortable is to practice. We manufacture an HVLP system and when I first started out, I drew arms and bodies on cardboard and colored paper and sprayed them with water. Then I graduated to spraying myself and others with water to get the technique down. Then it's time to spray friends and relatives with DHA. Our first mistakes with DHA were with spraying feet and hands, which we shouldn't have done, but there are a lot of resources out on the internet that can help you with those tips. You'll be fine - don't let those paying customers waiting. Good Luck. |
