Rep Power: 0 | I recently bought an airbrush kit that comes with absolutely no training what so ever...When I called to find out what the deal was, they told me to tape up some white sheets or white pieces of paper and practice going in circles on that. I don't want to make anyone stripy so is this really a good way to do it. Seems a little weird to me! |

Rep Power: 29 | You mean PRACTICE? Sounds like good advice. That's exactly what I'm doing. Bought a stencil kit, compressor, and airbrush (about $200) and just started practicing...till I ran out of paint. It's a little tricky working the airbrush but so was riding a bike or anything the first time trying. Honestly BlueIslandTan, you really need to do some research before you go around badmouthing tanning without knowing any facts. Here's one that'll suprise you. DId you know that spray tan is actually ILLEGAL? DHA was appoved for topical lotion application NOT for SPRAYING IN PEOPLE'S FACES. Probably missed that in your research. |

Rep Power: 0 | Your just peeed edfant because you know it's true. You know that's what your selling. And no, where I live it's not illegal. If it was so illegal, don't you think it would be harder to find? I have researched it...I can't beleive someone like you can even live with yourself, I mean with sending so many people to their death beds, oops tanning beds. My mistake. Did you know that DHA is used in weight loss pills? So why would it be illegal to use. It's not toxic, it doesn't burn cancer into clients...as far as I'm concerned bed tanning should be illegal. At least I can say that my method of tanning doens't have offer a side of cancer or anything potentially deadly. What can you say to that? Not a darn thing...so why don't you and your stupid *** ultra donkey leave me the **** alone. This is just a whole bunch of crap, all you bed tanners sell cancer. You can't deny it. I guess it's too hard to admit because you don't want to fess up to the fact that some of your clients probably have or have gotten it from you. You people are like aids victims that just can't keep your pants zipped. _________________ [ This Message was edited by: BlueIslandTan on 2004-06-26 02:34 ] |

Rep Power: 107 | Death, ya right? Seems we have another victim of the billion dollar sunscreen industry in our midst. Do you wear your sunscreen when there is a full moon. After all the shining moon is a reflection of the sun on the opposite side of the earth. As far as the training you ask about, make friends with someone from your local auto body shop, paint a car, paint a person, same thing. As far as DHA, yes, it has not yet been approved by the DHA for internal use, so I hope everyone is wearing their respirators, as the body man about that one too. |

Rep Power: 0 | I don't need to practice on anything...I know how to do it. I need a darn practice tape for my new employees that seem to be clueless to everything. DHA is used in weight loss pills and is fda approved so how is it not approved for internal use. I wear sunscreen, does that make me a bad person, thanks to you people my sister has had skin cancer twice...from beds. I know it's real so fess up. I'm guessing by your age your one of thos chicks that looks about 60 with your nasty leather skin. Gross. No thanks! I like my skin looking nice and young. And it will stay nice and young because I don't fry myself to look good. |

Rep Power: 107 | I don't know what DHA you are referring to, but dihydroxyacetone, used for extremely artificial "tanning" is not approved for internal use, that is a fact. Fact: something you are not used to dealing with. Your sister got skin cancer from tanning beds? Prove it baby?! One of those chicks? Use the profile feature! I'm a guy, 41, been UV tanning for 18 yrs. and people think I'm 31! Put that SPF 180 on at night now! Don't wanna get skin cancer from the moon or your night light! As far as the practice tape for your employees, if you are such an expert why aren't YOU training them?? |
