Rep Power: 0 | I've got a girl that here lately when she tans she's getting it looks like bumps all over her stomach? Now some of the redness has gone away and they look white? Actually i have another customer with the same problem but everyone else is fine! what is this? I don't want them to think they're getting it from the beds not being cleaned! B'cause we clean them GOOD! |

Rep Power: 21 | Its probably an reaction from being overexposed. I myself have had this problem in the past when i burnt myself on a sun filled vaca! Benadryl usually calms it down, but they are probably tanning way too long or too frequently than they should be. There could be other factors involved as well, like if they are taking any type of meds, using new soap or detergent etc. at home, which might mean its not from tanning. But my initial thought is overexposure, they don't have to burn to be overexposed. When I had this problem, I had white bumps because I was tan, and when I wasn't really tan, they were red, they can itch as well, all because I was totally overexposed. Just my thoughts upon reading. |

Rep Power: 0 | I had the same thing happen, and it turned out the member was on a medication that photosensitized her- check that first. Even certain foods can increase sensitivity, so check for any recent changes in thier routine(food, medication, skin products...etc.)Hope it helps! |

Rep Power: 0 | I have had a salon with the same problem. I called a support center and apparently if they use certain moisturizers such as bath and body works it has a bad reaction to the uv light and will irritate skin. Ask the clients what else they use. |
